Landslide

It's Friday night and I'm listening to the fuckin' Dixie Chicks...

*side bar* You didn't think Shaq liked the Dixie chicks, huh? And yes I just referred to myself in the third person. *side-eyes those who don't like that*

Back to the Dixie Chicks. I don't know what it is about these YT girls but I like their music. I have yet to buy any of their albums but the few songs I heard from them I like. Is it safe to say that I like country music? No but I do like the Dixie Chicks. The fact that they publicly said they don't like our President is an added bonus too.

In my Beyaki "Placenta Breff" voice, "You must not know bout me, you must not know bout me!?!" (LOL!)

I can't even front. There was a Dixie Chick song that I was feeling. I give them their props for shittin on Bush, too. It's good to have variety in your life. I hate listening to the same type of music all the time. That's why life offers choices.

People look at me crazy because I occasionally bump Duke Ellington, Celion Dion, Gershwin, and African Music like it's the new Big Mike Mixtape... but they can kick rocks or take the transit if they don't like it.

I also like to go to Broadway Musicals. My friends think it's boring, but I'm almost 30 years old! I would straight-up be playing myself waiting in line to get in some club to see Young Jeezy. I don't like him any damn way! I like a little culture and change in my life.

To end this speech, I would just like to say, that if you want to bump that Dixie Chicks like it's the new Nas... DO THE DAMN THING! And if other mofo's don't like it, flip their ass off and tell em to go f**k theirselves! LOL! And after that, politely give them the JaySpice patented "two fingers to the side" and keep it movin.

Have a good weekend!

:)

"Sin Wagon" is my shit. I wanted to see that movie, but the bootlegger on 125th looked at me like I had two heads when I asked him about it.

BTW, I like Ellington, too.
